You can get to Thassos only by ferry boat from our two ports, Skala Prinos and Limenas (Thassos) which are connected to Kavala and Keramoti in mainland.
From Kavala
The ferry boat from Kavala arrives at Skala Prinos. The itinerary lasts 1 (one) hour and 15 (fifteen) minutes. In the summer the coastal line has 5 (five) itineraries during the day. When you arrive at Skala Prinos you will travel by a car or bus to Limenaria, which is located at a distance of 23 (twenty three) kilometers. In the peripheral street of Skala Prinos you will turn right and you will go on to Limenaria. At the central crossroads you turn right and all the way down the street you turn right again, along the beach the Agali hotel is 150 (one hundred and fifty) along the street.
From Keramoti
From Keramoti port the ferry boat arrives in Limenas (Thassos), the capital city of Thassos. The trip lasts 35 (thirty-five) minutes and there are regular itineraries, usually every half an hour during the summer months. From Limenas by car of bus, turn right to the peripheral street and follow the signs to Prinos and then go on to Limenaria. At the central crossroads you turn right and all the way down the street you turn right again, along the beach the Agali hotel is 150 (one hundred and fifty) along the street.
By airplane
The nearest airport to Thassos is Kavala’s airport (Alexander the Great airport), which is near Chrissoupoli, only 17 (seventeen) kilometers from Keramoti’s port. There are daily itineraries during the year to Athens and there are charters during the summer from all over Europe.
